Everywhere you look at the Alberta Aviation Museum, we are doing new things. Our goal is to help Edmontonians better understand our city’s amazing aviation past and share the stories of those pioneer aviators.
Our “Haunted Halloween at Hangar 14” is an example. It’s the first time we have held such an event. This Saturday, from 11am to 3pm, we will turn the museum into a Haunted Hangar. Kids in costume get in free. We will also hold a Scavenger Hunt, and of course, there will be candy. Drop by…if you dare.
In our efforts to make our museum one of the best experiences for our visitors, we are also changing the hours we are open to the public. We need more staff time to devote to our museum revitalization. As a result, beginning November 1, our new hours will be as follows:
- CLOSED Mondays (except holiday Mondays)
- Tuesday to Friday 10am to 4pm
- Saturday & Sunday 10am to 5pm
We will be returning to a seven-day-a-week operation next summer. Thanks for your continued support of our museum. Help us keep Edmonton’s aviation heritage alive.
