It was another great weekend of aviation at the 2018 Edmonton Airshow, held at the Villeneuve Airport northwest of the city.

Museum staff and volunteers had a great time meeting so many of our supporters and educating new people about our work keeping Edmonton’s aviation history alive.  We handed out hundreds of AAM flags to kids and sold lots of toys and T-shirts.

The weather even cooperated. The smoke that had been hanging over the Edmonton area cleared enough for the show and it was a perfect day for watching airplanes.

Take a look at our gallery of photos. If you missed it, keep an eye open for news about next year’s dates.

We also took this opportunity to produce an updated virtual tour video. You can see all the amazing changes we’ve made in our museum exhibits in the past year. Drop in soon and see for yourself.

As well, tickets are still available for our fundraising raffle. Tickets are available at the museum and are $5 each.
