We are pleased to report the Magnum Opus Charity Art Show was a financial and artistic success. More than 200 people attended the event and we helped raise more than $3,000 for iHuman Youth Society.
The museum’s event hall was hopping to the beats of DJ Deadly Nedly and Melafrique, the dance moves of Edmonton B-Boys and B-Girls and a fashion show of streetwear by M.O.B.I.L.I.Z.E.
And of course, everyone wanted a picture with the Back to the Future DeLorean Time Machine.
Thanks to artist Sean Paul Arceta who created the art and the event. And Special thanks to AAM Curator Lech Lebiedoswki, who not only built the amazing replica and provided it for the event, but helped arrange and set up for this great show.
The Alberta Aviation Museum is part of the community and we are thrilled that we were able to help stage this great and worthwhile fundraiser.
If you were at the event, these pictures will help you relive a great time. If you weren’t, keep an eye on our social media feeds so you don’t miss them in the future.
