For more than 80 years Edmonton’s Blatchford Field was the centre of a bustling aviation community that spurred the growth of the city, the region and the North. Hundreds of men and women let their dreams take flight from this historic airfield, flying everything from biplanes to bush planes, bombers to jets.

The Alberta Aviation Museum is committed to keeping that aviation heritage alive by sharing their stories, offering educational programs and producing online content.

New! Starting July 1 we will be open until 5 pm Saturdays and Sundays for the summer. We will also be offering additional drop-in programs for youngsters 2-6 Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Check out the details here.
