Become a Volunteer

The Alberta Aviation Museum has amassed one of the largest collections of historic aircraft for any aviation museum of its size, but it would never have succeeded without the legions of volunteers who have devoted hundreds of thousands of hours over the past 30 years.

However, there is still much work to do!  Whether you are looking to build a new skill-set, gain professional experience, or join a community network of passionate aviation enthusiasts, we have opportunities for you! Help restore rare, historical aircraft; explore rich Alberta stories and library research; and champion community programming inspired by Alberta’s tenacious aviation spirit.

Be a part of the momentum, where History Takes Flight!

We have volunteer opportunities in Interpretation, Education, Restoration, Communications, and Archives! Check out a few of our opportunities below or submit your application with your interests and we can create a position that best fits your needs.
