Parents can now send their kids to explore a day of high-flying adventure as the Alberta Aviation Museum presents their new PD Day Camp program. On your child’s day off, the museum will be abuzz with activities for youth aged 6-12.

Running from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, the camps will take place on Edmonton Public School PD days.  Each camp will explore a different historical theme in Edmonton’s rich aviation history.  Upcoming themes traverse a range of adventurous topics from bush pilot explorers, daredevil aviators, flight training, jets, and more!

Children will have the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of one of our aircraft, interact and play with museum artifacts, all while using their creativity and imagination to explore the world of aviation.

March 27, 2020 – Flight Crews: Commercial Aviation to the Skies

Meet the rest of the flight crew and learn about the early days of commercial aviation in Alberta. You’ll learn about the flight attendants fight for rights, ensure a smooth flight on our private business jet, and get up close with a few artifacts from the museum’s collection.
