Parents can now send their kids to explore a day of high-flying adventure as the Alberta Aviation Museum presents their new PD Day Camp program. On your child’s day off, the museum will be abuzz with activities for youth aged 6-12.

Running from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, the camps will take place on Edmonton Public School PD days.  Each camp will explore a different historical theme in Edmonton’s rich aviation history.  Upcoming themes traverse a range of adventurous topics from bush pilot explorers, daredevil aviators, flight training, jets, and more!

Children will have the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of one of our aircraft, interact and play with museum artifacts, all while using their creativity and imagination to explore the world of aviation.

Our next camp runs on March 26, 2020

March 26, 2020 – Gateway to the North: Bush Pilots

Explore uncharted territory and learn what life was like for the bush pilots who flew into the unknown and explored the Canadian North from above. Dress like a bush pilot, prepare your aircraft for flight and take a seat in the pilot’s seat!
