Museum Camps
Get ready for takeoff! Our themed camps dive into exciting parts of aviation history, with each day packed full of hands-on STEM activities, amazing stories from Alberta’s rich aviation past, and classic summertime fun.
Each day includes:
- Flight simulators
- Exclusive access to the cockpits of the museum’s aircraft collection (at least one aircraft per day)
- Trips to the local playground
Our camps are ideal for ages 6-11.

November 12th and 13th – Pilot Training Academy ($130/ camper)
November 16th – Aircraft Test Lab ($65/camper)
January 29th – Winged Wonders ($65/camper)
February 25th and 26th – Pilot Training Academy ($130/ camper)
March 10th, 11th, and 12th – Mission: Land, Sea, and Sky ($195/ Camper)
May 20th and 21st – Operation Codebreaker ($65/day)
June 21st – Aircraft Test Lab ($65/camper)
Schedule:
- 8:30am – 9:00am: Drop – Off
- 9:00am- 4:00pm: Camp Runs
- 4:00pm – 4:30pm: Pick – Up*
*Picking up campers after 4:30pm may result in a late pick-up fee
Cancellation Policy
We will provide a refund for cancellations made more than one week prior to the start of your camp minus a $25 administration fee. For cancellations made within one week of the start of a camp, no refunds will be given, but a credit for a future camp will be given.
Discover Our Exciting Camp Adventures
We want ensure that camps are accessible to everyone regardless of financial circumstances. For those unable to afford camp fees, we have a limited number of bursaries available.
With the generous support of the Sir Winston Churchill Society of Edmonton, we are able to offer bursaries to cover the cost of the Alberta Aviation Museum’s PD Day Camps. Due to the high number of applications, and limited bursaries the following policies are in place:
- There is a limit of one bursary per family each year.
- There is a limit of one bursary per child.
