Theory of Flight
Length: 1-month online access to virtual activity kit AND 60-minute live session
The Alberta Aviation Museum is excited to bring our popular Theory of Flight program right to your classroom! This year your booking includes two parts; the brand-new virtual Theory of Flight Activity Kits and a virtual live session with the museum’s knowledgeable instructors.
The kit includes 9 interactive activities that combine Air and Aerodynamics and Flight units with other topics from the Grade 6 science, social studies and language arts curriculum. Each activity comes with a comprehensive guide for teachers outlining curriculum links and any supplementary resources or worksheets in the kit.
The interactive live session with our instructors is an hour-long virtual program, during which you will get to see show up-close aircraft tours of some of the Alberta Aviation Museum’s historic aircraft the Four Forces of Flight and aircraft control surfaces. It is also an opportunity to ask our instructors all of your aviation questions!
